Welcome to the High School Presidential Inaugural Conference

The High School Presidential Inaugural Conference is held in Washington, D.C. every four years in conjunction with the formal Inauguration of the President and Vice President of the United States.

In January 2013, we welcomed High School Inaugural Scholars to our nation’s capital for a unique and extraordinary opportunity to explore the presidency and the presidential campaigns and take part in the excitement and celebration of America’s 57th Presidential Inauguration.

Honored Keynote Speakers, special events and activities and an exclusive Black Tie and Gown (optional) Gala Inaugural Celebration are planned throughout the five-day Conference. Additional guest speakers and activities will be added to the Schedule of Events as the Conference draws near. Click on the links at right for full conference details.

Alumni of the National Young Scholars Program (NYSP), the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC), the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) and members of the National Society of High School Scholars were invited exclusively to attend the Conference.

The next Presidential Inaugural Conference will be held in January 2017 to commemorate the 58th Presidential Inauguration. In the meantime, click here to learn more about our other leadership and career exploration programs available for high school students.
